In this beautiful spring season full of vitality, "China Aluminum Industry Green and low-carbon Development Technology Innovation Conference" was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province from April 21 to 23, 2023. The conference was organized by China Nonferrous Metals Green and Low-carbon Development Innovation Consortium, China Nonferrous Metals Society, Aluminum Corporation of China Limited, Zhengzhou University, Central South University, Henan Academy of Sciences, Chinalco Research Institute of Science and Technology Co., LTD., Chinalco Zhengzhou Research Institute of Nonferrous Metals Co., LTD., Kunming University of Science and Technology, China University of Mining and Technology, and co-hosted by Northeastern University and Nanyang Normal University. It is jointly undertaken by National Aluminum Smelting Engineering Technology Research Center, Light Metal Metallurgy Academic Committee of China Non-Ferrous Metals Society, North China Metallurgical (Beijing) Engineering Consulting Co., LTD and other units.
Five academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, including He Jilin from Zhengzhou University, served as honorary chairmen of the conference. The conference set up three sub-sessions on bauxite/alumina/aluminum industry intelligence, electrolytic aluminum/aluminum carbon/recycling, aluminum/aluminum industry environmental protection, respectively for in-depth exchanges and discussions, collision sparks of thinking. Nearly 400 people from research institutes, institutions of higher learning, R&D personnel from upstream and downstream enterprises of the industrial chain, suppliers and other representatives attended the meeting. "China Nonferrous Metals Green and Low-carbon Development Innovation Consortium Annual Conference" and "the 10th China Aluminum Industry Science and Technology Development Conference" will be held at the same time.
